Usui Reiki Healing Courses
Rei-ki means 'spiritual life force energy' and it is a pure, refined
source of universal healing energy that flows wherever it is asked
to flow, acting on all levels to bring health and healing to the receiver.
It is applied in a gentle, hands-on way, whether as self-treatment
or for the treatment of others. The giver acts merely as a channel,
with the ki energy coming down through the crown chakra and out through
the hands to the receiver. Its beauty lies in its profound simplicity
and its ability to enable you to work on yourself and well as on others.
It requires only that the receiver is open to receive.
There are three main levels of learning and each involves being initiated
by the teacher of your choice. At Level One (Shoden), you receive four
initiations and are introduced to the Usui Five Principles which act
as guidelines for the work you do on yourself to prepare as a practitioner
and to help your understanding of the healing process. You are also
taught set hand positions which are helpful for a beginner and you
are given time to practice on others. The learning of Reiki healing
is most enjoyable and you are encouraged to come with a light, untroubled
heart.

At the Second Level (Okuden), there
are two main treasures you receive: first, you are given an initiation
that will further open you up to the flow of the Reiki energy. Second,
you receive three of Dr Usui's four symbols which act as keys for enhancing
your ability to transmit energy through space by means of distant healing.
The Third Level (Shinpiden) has a number of layers to it and is only
really for those who wish to become professional practitioners and
teachers.
If you are a practitioner, Reiki can enhance the
work you do and, if you are not, in any case it will enhance your way
of life. In a sense, Reiki is a gift, and once you have received it
you never lose it. However, the more you work with it the more effective
it becomes. On the courses, we work clothes on and that is the normal
way.

I believe that Reiki healing was originally practised among the mountains of the Himalayas, although it was Usui Sensei of Japan who brought it to the world’s notice in the early 1900s and who gave it its name. And, also, it was on Mount Kurama that he had his revelation. So, mountains and Reiki healing have always had a deep mystical link from way back in time and I would like to make available some Reiki healing courses in the breath-taking Italian Alps.
In 2009 I will start offering courses in Gressoney La Trinite, a village at the foot of the eternal Monte Rosa, high in the Val D’Aosta region of the Alps. There you can share learning how to use the Reiki energy with wonderful walks in nature, pure mountain air and delicious local food. Each course will last three days but you can stay longer if you wish and imbibe the wonder and mysticism of the mountains and also join in the morning and evening meditations.

Credo che il metodo di guarigione mistica Reiki sia stato originariamente praticato tra le montagne dell’Himalaya anche se e’ stato il giapponese Mikao Usui Sensei …..a farlo conoscere nel mondo agli inizi del 1900 e che lo ha cosi’ chiamato. Per di piu’ fu mentre si trovava sul monte Kurama che ebbe questa rivelazione (intuizione). Cosi’ tra le montagne e la guarigione mistica, vi e’ sempre stato un certo legame e quindi sono lieto di poter offrire corsi di Reiki in un incomparabile scenario alpino; infatti, nel 2009 iniziero’ ad offrire corsi a Gressoney-la-Trinité, un villaggio ai piedi del Monte Rosa, in Alta Valle d’Aosta. La’ potrete imparare, insieme ad altri, come usare l’energia del Reiki in mezzo ad una natura incontaminata, aria pura e cibo locale genuino. Ogni corso avra’ la durata di tre giorni ma potrete stare piu’ a lungo se lo desiderate ed assorbire le meraviglie ed il misticismo della montagna, unendovi alle nostre meditazioni della mattina e della sera.
